Before your first visit

Does it hurt?

No. You lie down with your eyes closed the whole time, and most clients fall asleep. A slight cool feeling from the adhesive on a first visit is normal; stinging or burning is not, so say so and we stop.

Will extensions damage my natural lashes?

Not when applied correctly. Every extension is isolated to a single natural lash and weight-matched to what that lash can safely carry. That's the core of Korean-style application, and why retention and lash health go hand in hand.

How long do lash extensions last?

With proper aftercare, extensions stay full for 3–4 weeks as your natural lashes shed on their normal cycle. Most clients book a fill every 2–3 weeks.

How long does an appointment take?

Full sets take 2–2.5 hours, fills about 1.5 hours, and lash lifts 1–1.5 hours. The bed is warm and the room is quiet.

Lash extensions or a lash lift — which should I get?

Extensions add length and volume; a lift curls and enhances your natural lashes with zero upkeep. If you wear little makeup and want effortless, choose the lift (with a tint). If you want noticeable length and drama, choose a set. We confirm together at your consultation.

Can I book and have my appointment in Korean?

Yes. Yewon speaks Korean and English, so you can text, book and have your whole appointment in either language. 한국어로 문의하셔도 됩니다.

Where is the studio, and what is it like?

A private home studio in East Regina with free parking out front. It's just you and the artist: no walk-ins, no other clients waiting. The exact address is texted to you 24 hours before your appointment.

What if I react to the adhesive?

True allergies to lash adhesive are rare, but possible. If you have sensitive eyes or have reacted before, mention it in your booking notes and ask for a patch test at least 48 hours ahead. If your eyes are red, itchy or swollen after a set, text us: removal is quick and gentle.

How should I prepare?

Arrive with clean, makeup-free lashes (no mascara or oily products), skip caffeine right before if you can, and take out contact lenses if you wear them. The full list is in the aftercare guide.

Choosing a set

Which lash extensions look the most natural?

Classic. One extension on each natural lash adds length and a little darkness without adding fullness, so it reads as mascara rather than extensions. Hybrid is the next step up if classic turns out too subtle.

What is the difference between hybrid and volume lashes?

Volume puts a handmade fan of ultra-fine extensions on every natural lash for full, fluffy density. Hybrid mixes those fans with single classic extensions, so it is wispier and lighter-looking, with texture instead of uniform fullness.

Which lash extensions last the longest?

All sets shed with your natural lash cycle and stay full for about 3–4 weeks with aftercare, so retention depends more on application and care than on the style. A well-isolated classic or hybrid set on healthy lashes holds as long as any volume set; fills every 2–3 weeks keep any of them full.

Can I switch styles at a fill?

Within limits. A fill can move a set softer or fuller — more fans, fewer spikes, shorter lengths. A full change of style (classic to volume, or anime to classic) is done at your next full set.

Which set should a first-timer choose?

Classic or hybrid. Both are light, easy to get used to, and simple to build on at a fill if you want more. Book either; the final call is made together at your consultation.

Korean lash lifts

What is a Korean lash lift?

A lash lift done the way it is taught in Korea: gentle, precisely timed lifting solutions, the curl shaped from the root rather than the tip, and a conditioning step at the end. Yewon trained in Hongdae, Seoul, where this is the standard. The result is an open-eyed, natural curl that lasts 4–6 weeks with no extensions and no upkeep.

How long does a lash lift last?

Typically 4–6 weeks — it grows out with your natural lash cycle. Most clients rebook every 4 weeks to keep the curl constant.

Is a lash lift damaging?

Not when done properly. Yewon uses gentle, timed solutions and never over-processes. Lashes are conditioned after every treatment.

Can I still wear mascara?

Yes — but most clients don't. Wait 6 hours after your lift before getting lashes wet or applying any product.

Lift or extensions?

Choose a lift for zero upkeep and your own lashes, enhanced. Choose extensions for added length and volume. Not sure? Book the lift — it's the easiest yes in beauty.

Anime lashes

How long do anime lashes last?

As long as any extension set — they shed with your natural lash cycle. With good aftercare, most clients book a fill every 2–3 weeks to keep the spikes crisp.

Are anime lashes heavy?

They shouldn't feel heavy. Every extension is isolated to a single natural lash and weight-matched to what that lash can carry — the same Korean-style application used for every set.

Can I go softer later?

Yes. Spike length and spacing can be toned down at a fill, or you can switch to a classic or hybrid style at your next full set.

How should I prepare?

Come with clean, makeup-free lashes. Aftercare is the same as for any extension set: keep them dry for the first 6 hours and brush them daily.

Still deciding? Book any set — we settle the details together at your consultation.
